Gen 2- Chapter 3

Zia had a birthday and became a teenager. She got the Good trait, and everyone says we look a lot alike. Now that she is older, we get along really well. I enjoy being around her. We do our homework together almost every day and she even comes and watches TV with me.





I am doing really well in school. I have an A, and just made honor roll! I really want to stay on the honor roll for 3 days, so I am working hard. I met some new Sims at school, too! Jeremy seems nice, and I want to befriend him.

Jeremy called and told me that he was going to be at the Tattoo shop around 8pm. I used Dad's new teleporting device and I was at the shop in no time! We chatted outside and it made me want to know him even better!



I had to hurry home though, it was getting late and I was going to miss curfew. The cops were coming just as I got in my car. I drove home as fast as the speed limit would allow. Thank goodness my parents were in bed, and I didn't get caught being out so late.

Giovani and Zia decided to get jobs after school. Giovani works at the supermarket now, and Zia works at the book store. It sure does get boring around here without my brother and sister to talk to. I decided to get a job myself. I now have a part time job at the Spa! I don't make great money, but I am helping my family and I love that feeling!

Mom says she is getting lonely. We are at school all day and then all three of us kids go to work too. She decided to start fishing in her spare time. She says dad just wants to play computer games all day, and she was getting bored. She caught a fish on the first day she started fishing and then made us sushi for dinner. MMMM!



Giovani aged up and moved out. He got the Genius trait. He sat down with all of us on the couch and explained that he had bought a house. He wanted to experience life outside of the Moretti house, and begin his career. He packed his bags and left as soon as his celebration was over.



The next day, I had this urge to meet someone new, preferably a vampire. I looked online for vampires to chat with, but there was none online. I googled "Vampires in Twinbrook" and found out that we have one vampire in this town! I went to the address provided and introduced myself. She invited me in, and I spent most of the day watching TV and chatting with her.



Her name is Ariana and she is very sweet. She just had a baby and got married recently. I didn't get to meet her husband, but she told me that he is a human. I thought that was kind of weird. I always thought vampires ATE humans!

That night, a woman showed up on our doorstep. Mom forgot her name, but she said she was weeping because she had just lost her husband. My mom went outside to console her, and my dad shortly followed. Mom ran inside to put lunch away, and the woman started hitting on my dad! Mom was so mad. My dad got upset at first, but then started flirting back.



Dad didn't even have time to apologize, the Grim Reaper showed up to take my mom. That was the worst day of my life. I have never lost a loved one before. I really miss my mom already. I keep waking up and thinking that she will be standing there, waiting to make my bed. I can't believe she's gone.





That night, dad and I shared an autumn salad in silence. Zia went upstairs to her room without eating, she was so upset that she was nauseous. Dad cried his way through dinner. I have never seen him so upset. I was sad too, but I was too busy consoling him to cry. He felt horrible about flirting with that other lady. I told him that I was sure mom understood that he was just being nice. I am not sure what mom was thinking, but I need to focus on his feelings being that he is my only LIVING parent.

Gen 2- Chapter 2

Even after we had such a horrible time at my house, Timmothy invited me to his house. I rode the bus home with him and we had a little more time to chat. He is actually kind of growing on me. I wanted to become friends with him.



Once I saw his huge mansion, I knew that Timmothy was rich. I have never met a rich person before, it was kind of cool. I don't even think his parents knew that I was there, but Timmothy and I hung out outside for a while and just chatted. I got to know him pretty well. He is now a really good friend of mine.



The next day, I heard that Timmothy had a birthday. He graduated high school and got a job in the military. I will miss seeing him at school everyday, but he told me that we can still hang out sometimes.

On Brando's birthday, we got robbed. I am still really shaken up about it. Someone just walked into our house and took our computer! I love that computer! What am I going to do now? Watch TV all day? Yeah probably...



I think that the robbery shook Brando up too, because as soon as he had his birthday he moved out. This is according to Zia because I was asleep. That jerk left without even saying goodbye! How could Brando do that? How could he leave without so much as a hug for his *favorite* sister? I swear, next time I see him I will have some not-so-nice words for him!!

Zia says that Brando became Family Oriented. I am sure he will marry some beautiful woman, I mean have you seen my brother? He's very handsome. He will probably have a ton of kids and forget all about his family...



I didn't last long before calling up Timmothy and having him come over. I wanted to know all about life after high school. We hung out all afternoon and he told me stories about his job. Then Dad announced that he was retiring.



Timmothy helped celebrate my dads retirement, even though he didn't know Dad at all. He even threw confetti on him.



My mom really likes Tim. She even tried flirting with him before he left! He got upset and left. I am so irritated with my mother. She will be lucky if I don't tell my dad what she did!

Angelica aged up and I knew what was soon to come. She would be moving out too. I was excited to be getting my own room. I am not extremely close with Angelica. We only shared a room since Bella left. I will miss having a full house all the time though. I did say goodbye to her though, it was sad but I know it's for the best. I am sure we will see her again soon, Ang is really close with Dad.








After Angelica left, Mom asked me if I wanted to make over my bedroom. Of course I said yes! I painted the walls green (my FAVORITE color) and I got to buy some new furniture. I even got my very own computer (which everyone in the house always wants to use)! Giovanni says it looks like a leprechaun threw up, but I adore it. Who doesn't like leprechauns?



Not long after Ang moved out, I found out through the grapevine that she was dating Timmothy. I am sad because I feel like I am going to lose my friend, but happy too because Tim is a great guy, and I know Angelica will be happy with him.

Gen 2- Chapter 1

Hi, I am Alessandra. I am the 5th of six children. I just became a teenager, and let me tell you that teen life is no picnic. My mom just told me about our family legacy, and she chose me to be the heiress. I am not exactly sure why she chose me, my siblings seem much more ambitious than I am, but I am still young. I haven't figured out what I want to do with my life, but I just started high school and I think I have plenty of time to figure out my life's plan.



I guess you could call me a couch potato. I spend most of my free time watching TV. I am also friendly, sort of clumsy and a really heavy sleeper. I love to sleep, but then again don't all teenagers?

My oldest sister Bella decided to move out recently. She has become an adult, and wants to move into her own place. I don't blame her, my house is noisy and it's always busy around here. I can't wait for the day that I get to move out. I love my siblings and all, but I can't wait to have a nice quiet house all to myself!

I can't say that I am really close with everyone in the house. I have the best relationship with my mom and my brother Brando. It's probably because he played with me a lot as a baby. He always gives me hugs, I think I am his favorite sister but don't tell anyone I said so!




Today is my first day of high school. I followed Giovani and Brando to the bus. I am nervous, but excited at the same time. I want to make some new friends today, it's all I can think about!



I met someone new today. His name is Timmothy. I invited him to my house to be nice, but I am not sure I like him too much. He spent the afternoon talking to my mom. I got bored and sat with Brando and just worked on my homework. He left shortly after.





After I finished my homework, I challenged my mom to a game of chess. I really want to win a game against her, but I know she is pretty good at chess. We played 2 games, and she beat me both times. Now I want to be mean to her. I guess I am not a very graceful loser.



I am sad because Brando's birthday is tomorrow. He will become an adult and I heard him talking about moving out. I don't know what I am going to do without him! I want to ask him to stay here with me, but I know he won't. He has been going on and on about joining the Military, and moving on base. I sure will miss him!

Chapter 16- Heir Vote

Giovanni's birthday came quickly. He became a teenager, and developed the Daredevil trait. Giovani was very handsome, and Alexis had a sort of fondness toward him. Perhaps it was because he looked so much like her?





Bella was very involved with her work. She needed 3 skill points in writing to advance in her career, so she decided to write a Sci-Fi novel to get some money, and help climb the corporate ladder.



Tony soon became an elder. He wanted to be worth over $100,000 so he kept working, although he knew he should retire.



Zia also had a birthday. She became a child, and developed the Computer Whiz trait.



Finally, Alessandra became a teenager. Alexis had been long awaiting this day, she was excited to choose her heir, and retire with Tony in a quiet house.

Chapter 15

Brando and Angelica were busy focusing on their skills. Brando took an interest in cooking, and Angelica was interested in astrology. Since Alexis was always telling them to improve their skills, it was becoming second nature. Brando was starting to cook dinner almost every night.

 



Zia was now a toddler, and Alessandra a child. Alessandra gained the Heavy Sleeper trait, which was good because the older girls had no room in their bedroom for another bed, and Alessandra had to share the nursery with Zia.





The house was becoming too small for the family of eight. Alexis was working hard on raising her children to fulfill her lifetime wish She was bringing in a lot of money in royalties each week, and Alexis pondered the idea of expanding the house but the property line wouldn't allow for much expansion. She thought about moving the family, but the larger houses in town cost more than she was willing to spend. It wouldn't be long before Giovani and Alessandra were teenagers, and Alexis could choose one of her children to be the heir of her legacy. She hoped the kids would start moving out shortly after that, and she could retire with Tony in the same house that they started in. The house seemed small now, but soon it would be more than she would need.

With 3 teenagers in the house, 2 children, and only one toddler, Alexis was spending more time on herself and less time constantly caring for babies. She was improving her handiness more and more these days. She wanted to reach level 8 handiness, so she was upgrading everything to self cleaning. She wanted to spend more time with her family, and less time cleaning everything. One of the showers, a toilet and the kitchen sink were all upgraded in one day!



Tony came home with great news. He had been promoted to a Superstar Athlete, and fulfilled his lifetime wish! Alexis was so happy for her husband, she hugged him super tight and congratulated him.

"Look at my new work outfit, honey!" Tony was basking in the glory of his accomplishment, a smile beamed ear to ear. "How do I look?" he asked
"Tony, you look wonderful! I am so proud of you!" Alexis smiled. She thought he looked more like a pimp than an athlete, but she didn't tell him that.

 

Brando met Kaitlin Lin at school. They really hit it off and Kaitlin invited Brando to come to her house after school. He accepted the invitation, he really wanted to get to know her better. She was very pretty for a townie.  They hung out for hours, until Brando decided to return home to catch up on his homework.



Alexis and Bella's birthday came quickly. Bella was now an adult, and acquired the Genius trait. She decided to become a Star News Anchor and changed her look to match her lifetime wish. Bella had always been very plain, but after her makeover she felt beautiful. She had never felt beautiful before.





Alexis became an elder. She was trying to decide if she should retire just yet, or write one more novel in her Romance series first.



Alexis was anxiously awaiting Alessandra's birthday. In five days, when she became a teenager, Alexis would decide on the heir. It was still driving her crazy that she had to choose just one child, but she wasn't getting any younger and she knew that she wouldn't be around forever. She needed to make her choice as soon as possible, and would make the choice as soon as her Lifetime Wish was fulfilled.

Chapter 14- "Light"

Angelina and Giovani shared a birthday. There was no party, but the family helped celebrate.





Alexis sat on the soft couch, rubbing her bulging belly and thinking about her children. She loved her children dearly, anyone could see that. She went out of her way to care for them, and provide for them. She sometimes woke them up in the wee hours of the night, just to give them a hug. She motivated them daily, convincing each one to improve their skills and do well in school.
Today, Alexis was thinking about her heir/heiress. She was to choose one of her children, the most deserving, to carry on her legacy. Alexis would become an elder in less than a week, she knew she wouldn't be around forever. "How can I choose one child? How can I say that one child is more deserving than another?" Alexis was being tortured. She knew that each of her children was special, and she couldn't pick one over the other, and feared resentment from the children who were not chosen.

"Bella, my first born..." She thought. "Bella is such a nurturing young lady. She loves her brothers and sisters, and is like a second mom. She is hard working, gets great grades and even juggles a job on top of her responsibilities. She will make such a wonderful mother, one day." She thought for a moment of all of the children Bella would probably have, but her mind wandered to thoughts of Brando.
"Brando, he is so smart. He loves astrology, and already has his lifetime wish chosen. He will be so successful in his career, and will make a woman very lucky one day." She thought about Brando and his future success. She knew he would be something really great.
"Angelina, my little black sheep. She loves the Arts and is so friendly. She will probably grow up to be a great photographer. She doesn't seem like the type to have a large family though." Alexis felt bad for Angelina. She was growing up quickly, and was the only heavy set child in the family. As Angelina got older, her waist got wider, and she wasn't interested in exercise like everyone else. She was truly the outcast of the family, which is what made her unique and she stood out.
Alexis realized that she didn't really know Giovani and Alessandra. They were just too young to have distinct personalities, but Alexis was excited to get to know them as they grew up.

Alexis walked into the study to paint. Painting was Alexis' new interest. She wasn't great at it, but she loved how calm it made her feel. She felt like the world stopped when she painted.



Alexis' pregnancy flew by. She wasn't nauseous or sore, it was the easiest pregnancy she ever had. When she finally went into labor, she didn't have time to even think about going to the hospital. Baby Zia was born within minutes. She was born Artistic and Perceptive. Zia meant "Light" and Alexis thought the name suited her well. She was a bright little baby, always smiling and happy.



Bella, of course, loved her new little sister. She spent all of her time home, playing with the baby. One night, Alexis was checking that everyone was in bed and found Bella dreaming of babies. Alexis sighed, Bella was only a teenager, should she really be this obsessed with babies? "Thank goodness she doesn't have any romantic interests, or we could be in trouble!" Alexis thought to herself.



Alexis was starting to drive the teenagers crazy. Everytime she socialized with them, she was telling them to focus on their skills. Alexis wanted her children to be successful adults, but she was forgetting to let them be kids. Alexis went as far as interrupting Bella's shower to tell her to  improve her skills.

"MOM! Can I take a shower in peace?" Bella yelled.
"Bella, I just want you to go far in life." Alexis replied.
"I just got done working out for 3 hours, of course you would know that if you hadn't slept in all morning! My skills are fine, Mom! I have been so busy with school, homework, work, and improving my skills, that I haven't had time to make any friends, let alone have a boyfriend. Just leave, Mom."



Alexis went upstairs to tend to Zia, all the while thinking of what had just happened with Bella. "How is being a good mom, such a negative thing? Doesn't Bella understand that the smarter she is, the further she will go? Life will be easier for her if she works hard at it now. Boyfriends can come later, I just don't get why she is so angry!" Alexis sighed to herself. Her relationship with Bella was failing, and she couldn't understand why.

Chapter 13- "The Defender"

Brando was settling into school life just fine. He was getting into a habit of coming home and doing homework, and even brought a friend home after his first couple days. Her name was Ida Lin-Dean and she a was a very cute little girl.



He was also a genius, and loved to play chess.




And he had a soft side. When Alexis found out that she was pregnant with Moretti baby number five, Brando constantly hugged his mom and felt the baby kick.



Bella realized that she loved to exercise. She didn't have an athletic trait, but every evening after her homework she would turn on the TV and and do some cardio workouts.




Giovanni and Angelica shared a birthday shortly after Brando and Bella's birthdays. Angelica was now a child, and got the photographers Eye trait.



Giovanni became a very handsome toddler.



Alessandra (meaning: "The defender") was born at home in the middle of the night. She was born with the couch potato and clumsy traits. Some defender...



Brando had taken up an interest in astrology and even founded his own star before becoming a teenager. He soon realized that his Lifetime Wish was to become an astronaut, which apparently is the highest level in the Military career track.



Alexis wished for more children. She could barely keep up with the 5 she had. Bella was taking care of the younger kids more and more, while Alexis was sleeping more and more.



Bella got a part time job at the bookstore. She even took Alessandra with her on her interview. She wasn't sure how she was supposed to work, go to school, AND help with all the kids in the family.



Alexis was going stir-crazy and decided to go tour the theater before Tony had to be at work.



That night, Alessandra had her birthday and was now a toddler.



Alexis noticed that the same woman had been standing on her doorstep all day. She soon realized that it was the paparazzi. Alexis was beginning to become famous for her writing. She walked outside to ask the woman to please stop taking pictures of her children. Suddenly, the woman started screaming! She was in labor. Alexis couldn't think of any other way to get the woman to leave than to take her to the hospital.



As if the night weren't weird enough, when Alexis returned home she was greeted by two strangers. She asked them what they needed and the woman started praising Alexis as if she were God himself! She discussed Alexis' many published books, and wouldn't shut up! Then she began discussing all of her traits that she had in common with Alexis. Alexis finally just walked inside without saying goodbye. She had babies to tend to.



Upstairs, Brando was having a birthday. He was now a teenager and acquired the Flirty trait.



To top off the entire night, Alexis found out that she was pregnant once again, with baby number six.

Oh. My. God. I hope Alexis is done having babies, because we can't fit anymore in this house! The kids are growing up so FAST that I am sure the last few chapters will be more about them aging up than anything else. We are expecting 3 birthdays in the next 5 sim days. Stay tuned :)
